How it started?

I've been through it all. The endless swiping, the talking stages that went nowhere, the promising starts that fizzled out, the dates that ghosted. After trying multiple dating platforms, it all just felt like noise. Either I'd meet the right kind of people with no serious intent, or people who connected well but our values didn't align.

And it wasn't just me, my friends were going through the same thing.

That's how Meant2Bae started.

We are building a dating service that values intention over algorithms, depth over drama, and people who actually show up. We handpick matches based on who you are, so you meet people who genuinely fit your values, lifestyle, and energy.

Teja Gosangi is the founder of Meant2Bae. She holds an MBA from FMS Delhi and spent her early career leading marketing and partnerships at Tech Mahindra and Leadsquared. She previously founded Ayra, a D2C saree brand. Teja started Meant2Bae after experiencing first-hand how dating apps fail professionals looking for serious, intentional relationships in India.

Every member goes through a structured onboarding process before any match is made:

Sign-up: You share the basics about who you are and what you're looking for
Profiling call: Our team gets to know you beyond the form, your values, non-negotiables, and the energy you're looking for
Verification: Every member is verified before entering our network, so you only meet people who are real and serious
Curated matches: You receive 1 to 2 handpicked matches per month, chosen based on values, lifestyle, and relationship goals
Guided introductions: We coordinate the logistics, including scheduling and the format (in-person or virtual)
Post-date follow-up: We collect feedback from both sides and communicate clearly so no one gets ghosted
