Welcome to Meant2Bae! We’re a curated, intentional dating platform designed to help Indian singles (including NRIs and OCIs) find meaningful connections. By using our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

Meant2Bae is for individuals seeking a serious, monogamous, long-term relationship. The platform is not intended for individuals seeking casual flings, non-monogamous arrangements, or caste-based matchmaking. We are currently not equipped to support these preferences.

To use Meant2Bae, you must:

• Be 21 years or older.

• Be legally single (unmarried, divorced, widowed or annulled) and able to provide documentation if requested.

• Not be in any romantic relationship at the time of registration.

• Be of Indian origin (Indian citizens, NRIs, or OCIs).

• Not impersonate or misrepresent your identity, background, or relationship status.

Meant2Bae reserves the right to request documentation at any point to verify your eligibility, identity, or marital status. Failure to provide accurate information or required documents may result in denial or termination of services.

2. How We Work

Meant2Bae operates on a curated, human-led approach to dating – more like a dating concierge than an app. We take the time to understand you, so you don’t have to swipe endlessly or stress over logistics. Here’s how it works:

1. Initial Sign up: Interested individuals complete a basic form sharing name, age, gender, education, current city, hometown, dietary/lifestyle preferences, income range, dating experience, and passions.

2. Video Interview: Our team reaches out via email, phone, SMS, WhatsApp or video call for a deeper conversation to understand your personality, lifestyle, and partner preferences. This step helps us assess intent and build a human connection.

3. Matching Process: We use a mix of science, art, intuition, experience, and proprietary algorithms to suggest one handpicked match at a time, based on your personality and preferences. We are location-agnostic – matches may be located anywhere in the world.

4. Verification: Users must verify their identity and marital status. Misrepresentation may lead to account suspension or permanent off-boarding.

5. Introduction to Match and Date Setup: If we find a potential match, we share an anonymized glimpse into their personality and arrange a date – virtual or in-person based on your and their locations. All dates happen in public, safe spaces like cafes or virtually over the Google Meet or Zoom applications. Users may receive 1-2 curated matches or sometimes even no matches per month. Our focus is on quality, not quantity.

6. Feedback Collection: After the date, we collect feedback from both users. If there’s mutual interest, we help set up a repeat date. If not, we handle the closure respectfully– so no one gets ghosted. We take your feedback very seriously to understand alignment and improve future matchmaking. We may suggest a second date with the same person or move on to a new match based on mutual interest.

Please note:

• We provide a brief overview about their work, interests and personality when we share the details of your match. We do not share full names or pictures as a part of the profile. Pictures and names are shared only when you are about to meet so that you can identify each other. 

• We consider a profile overview that we share as a match. Once we share the profile, it is considered as consumed. 

• Users will be notified once a match is ready. If unresponsive for more than 7 days, the match will be considered as consumed.

• Users are responsible for bearing the cost of the date (food, travel, etc.).

• If a match doesn’t lead to a second date, we communicate outcomes clearly and may introduce a new match later.

• We match users based on internal discretion and cannot guarantee that every user will be matched. This may be due to various proprietary and undisclosed reasons. Factors such as availability, compatibility, and other proprietary criteria may affect whether a user is matched.

3. Fees and Payments

3.1 Pricing & Plans

Meant2Bae works on a personalized matchmaking model. Here’s how it works:

• If you’ve done your profiling call, you’ll get 1 free match to experience what we do.

• After that, you can continue with one of our Early Bird Packages (valid for 12 months):

  1. 2 Matches: ₹ 2,499  (instead of ₹ 5,999)

  2. 5 Matches: ₹ 5,499 (instead of ₹ 13,999)

• If you’ve already received a match, you’ll just need a package to continue your journey.

  
  

3.2 Eligibility

• Users must complete the detailed profiling call to be eligible for their first free match.

• Only one free match per person. 

  
  

3.3 Verification

• Every user that you meet will be verified for identity, age and divorce status based on the documents they provide. 

3.4 Validity 

• Each paid package is valid for 12 months from the date of payment.

• Matches not used within this period will expire and cannot be carried over.

3.5 Refund Policy

• If Meant2Bae is unable to provide at least one match within 12 months of payment, a full refund will be issued, no questions asked.

• As a policy, we do not process partial refunds.

• Refunds will not be issued in cases where the user is unresponsive, repeatedly cancels dates, or does not meet basic behavioral expectations.

3.6 Matchmaking Process

• Matches are curated based on values, lifestyle and preferences shared during the profiling call. 

• We provide a brief overview about their work, interests and personality when we share the details of your match. We do not share full names or pictures as a part of the profile. Pictures and names are shared only when you are about to meet so that you can identify each other. 

• We consider a profile overview that we share as a match. Once we share the profile, it is considered as consumed. 

• Users will be notified once a match is ready. If unresponsive for more than 7 days, the match will be considered as consumed.

• We do not guarantee mutual interest or date outcomes.

3.7 Plan Activation

• The plan is activated only after payment is received and confirmed via email.

• All communication related to plans and matches will be shared through the official Meant2Bae channels.

4. User Conduct and Consent

By participating in Meant2Bae, you agree to:

• Treat all individuals you meet via Meant2Bae with respect and dignity.

• Avoid any form of abusive behavior–verbal, emotional, psychological, physical, or sexual–during any interaction.

• Be responsible for your own safety during all interactions, online or offline.

You also consent to:

• Meant2Bae team reaching out via email, phone, WhatsApp, SMS or video for onboarding, matching, and feedback.

• Sharing personal information with Meant2Bae voluntarily for matchmaking purposes.

• Meant2Bae using feedback or behavioral data for internal analytics and platform improvement.

Meant2Bae reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access in case of misrepresentation, misconduct, or violation of any of these terms. Such users may be offboarded or blacklisted from the platform.

5. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Your personal details are used only to facilitate matchmaking and are never publicly displayed. We do not share your information outside the Meant2Bae team without your explicit consent. We store user data securely and do not sell or trade your personal information. 6. Disclaimers and Limitations

Meant2Bae is not a marriage bureau or a dating app. We are a human-led matchmaking service designed to foster intentional, meaningful connections. While Meant2Bae strives to suggest compatible matches, we make no guarantees regarding:

• Match availability or timing.

• Relationship outcomes from any introduction.

• The behaviour, compatibility, or intent of another participant.

• We do not conduct criminal background checks.

The service is provided “as is,” without any warranties, express or implied. By using Meant2Bae, you acknowledge that:

• You are solely responsible for your safety and personal decisions during interactions.

• Meant2Bae is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, losses, or injuries resulting from your use of the service or participation in any interaction (including interactions or disputes with other users).

All matches are curated at the discretion of the Meant2Bae team and may be withheld for proprietary or undisclosed reasons.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for any reason, including breach of these Terms or misuse of the platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru.

9. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Meant2Bae services after such updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes, but we recommend checking this page periodically.
